Most Meetings have standard components. They are listed below. Following each
item are the most common steps necessary in order to deal with it.

Call the Meeting to order.

Review the minutes of the previous meeting.

Ask if there are any additions, deletions, or corrections

Motion to adopt the minutes required.

Second of motion required

Ask if there is any discussion about the minutes.
- Vote. (usually done by acclamation: this is, you can ask something
like “are there any objections?”; if there aren't any,
the motion has passed.)

Treasurer's report or review of budget, if any:

Ask Treasurer for the report.

Motion to adopt the report required.

Second of the motion required.

Ask if there is any discussion about the reports.
- Vote usually done by acclamation.
- Reports by committees &/or subcommittees.

Ask committee chairs to report.

Motions to adopt the reports of any committee required.

Second of motion required.

Ask if there is any discussion about reports.

Vote usually done by acclamation.

Discussion of old business.
This category consists of items not covered under any of the above committees
or reports. Depending on what the item is about. Motion may be required
followed by a second and vote or a simple discussion may be in order. When
in doubt, a motion to approve can't hurt.

Next meeting announcement and adjournment.
