National Alliance of HUD Tenants

A multi-cultural, tenant-controlled alliance of tenant organizations in privately-owned, multifamily HUD-assisted housing. Hundreds of tenant associations representing thousands of tenants in every region of the country are already involved, working together to:

Preserve affordable housing * Protect tenant rights * Promote tenant ownership and control

GET ORGANIZED

You will have a much better chance of making things better in your building if you work with other tenants to get the things you need. Most tenants don't have a lot of money or time available to solve their problems. Instead, tenants can come together as a group to share their talents, ideas, information, work, and to have the power of group action. Your landlord, HUD, and other people who have the power to change things at your building are more likely to listen to your concerns if your neighbors are by your side!
